Excellent Service and Quick Response!
Craig - Schaumburg, IL 60194
We have an issue with a dusty smell permeating our ranch home. Bob & Kevin arrived promptly and thoroughly inspected our ductwork to determine the cause of the odor. It appears the cause may be separation of duct with the pea gravel fill used under the concrete slab. They inspected the entire system with camera and are preparing an estimate for coating the duct system. Both gentlemen were open, honest and kept us informed with what they were doing. We had previous work done by this company and are very satisfied with the results.
Response from Trenchless Innovations Inc.:

Kevin Wall & Josh Reid arrived about 10AM and began the process of cleaning and relining the kitchen drainpipe. They were both very professional and explained the processes they were using to fix our drain line. They were here all day, but they were friendly and efficient in their jobs. It is wonderful to see two young men so dedicated to their craft and maintaining a positive attitude throughout the tasks at hand. We were very pleased that you have two very impressive people in your employ and we felt comfortable with their positive attitudes. You should be very proud of these representatives who unburdened us with our difficult experience.

John and Kevin arrived our location at 10:00 am to look at our situation. They came in, got under the kitchen sink and opened to clean out pipe and promptly began to insert camera into the 4” pipes. They performed a complete inspection of our lines and determined that our pipes were a good candidate for their product. We had received an estimate from another company that would require removing our 10 ft. Granite countertop and cabinetry then dig out the concrete slab to reach the pipes about 10”-12” below grade. Trenchless Innovations has removed that painful situation from the table and will give us a much better option. Thank you John, Kevin and Robert for making our day much more pleasant. Can’t wait for you to get started!!!

I am very satisfied with the service from Kevin and Trenchless Innovations. Kevin took the time to explain and allow me to observe the process. It was a pleasure speaking with Rhonda on the phone to get updates on scheduling. I literally contacted 17 plumbing contractors for estimates. Only 9 did pipe-lining. Trenchless Innovations was the best price by far saving me thousands. I would certainly recommend them.

Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are concrete possibly transite ducts with metal fittings and connections. Connections look in decent shape. The plenum under the furnace is very rusted. Suggest repairing plenum then spray lining ducts with Duct Armor duct lining material.

Customer ran water in kitchen sink and when drained it was able to be heard draining into the ducts. They need to contact plumber to repair the kitchen sink drain then call us back if they are interested in encapsulating the air ducts.

Televised underground air ducts.

Inspection of under-slab ducts via televised survey revealed concrete ducts with metal fittings showing slight rust. To address this, we recommend a two-step solution: Spin casting of metal fittings: This process will restore and protect the rusted metal components. Spray lining with Duct Armor: After spin casting, we'll apply Duct Armor duct lining material throughout the system. This comprehensive approach will seal leaks, prevent further corrosion, and improve overall HVAC efficiency, extending the lifespan of your under-slab ductwork.

9-23-2024: Did a video inspection of the underground duct work for dusty smell, separations at concrete slab to pipe at all register need to be filled with hydraulic cement and encapsulate all underground duct work. A coil would need to be removed for access to plenum box under furnace. We epoxy coated kitchen line in May of 2024 no sewer smell or water present since. N/C on duct televising per BS. Get quote to encapsulate transite ducts under slab.

Televised sewers from outside clean outs on all addresses listed below heavy scale and debris in line. Recommend next steps would be hydro jetting and descaling all 4” cast to see true condition of pipe after removing scale and debris from lines, to do so we would need access into all the first floor units to work from accessible inside clean outs or pulled toilets. On building 762-772 could not get camera past elevation change at foundation wall either too scaled up or possibly shifted pipe. 773-783 Whalom Lane 755-765 Whalom Lane 737-747 Whalom Lane 715-725 Whalom Lane 748-758 Whalom Lane 762-772 Whalom Lane

In Schaumburg, IL, I repaired a sewer line using a CIPP liner. The pipe had developed several cracks over time. After thoroughly cleaning the pipe, I inserted the resin-impregnated liner and allowed it to cure. This process reinforced the pipe's structure and sealed any leaks, ensuring a long-lasting repair.
.
I completed a trenchless sewer lining job in Schaumburg, IL, where the existing sewer pipe had multiple fractures. I utilized a resin-based liner and a steam curing process to create a new pipe within the old one. This technique avoided the need for digging and restored full functionality to the sewer system.

Insulated exposed ducts with Johns Manville Microlite XG duct wrap. Performed duct leakage test using Retrotec DucTester, achieving 90% reduction in air leakage.

Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are concrete with metal fittings. Metal elbow near sliding glass door is separated allowing air to exit the pipe. There was moisture under the kitchen sink area. Ran water in the kitchen sink and had water entering the ducts. Tv’d 2” drain line under sink and it is 2” copper in the floor. Suspect water is leaking out of copper and getting into ducts. Provide a proposal for epoxy coating copper and also for spray lining ducts.

Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are concrete ducts with metal fittings and connections. Them metal is showing heavy signs of rust and deterioration and there was standing water in the run leading from furnace to the front of the house. Work needs to be done on gutters. Once water issue is resolved the ducts should be spin cast mortared then spray lined with Duct Armor duct lining material.
Bob S.
Televised ducts under the slab floor, revealing concrete ducts with metal fittings. Recommended spray lining the ducts to encapsulate the concrete pipes. This process involves applying a specialized coating to the interior of the ducts, sealing any cracks and preventing further deterioration. The spray lining provides a durable and protective barrier, ensuring the longevity and efficiency of the duct system while maintaining the structural integrity of the concrete pipes.

Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are PVC with metal fittings. Metal fittings are rusted and are allowing water to enter the system. The plenum near the furnace is also very rusted. Property in the back and left side is all sloping towards the house. Neighbors downspouts are also dropping next to foundation. Suggest possible sump pit and pump outside to control water issue. After water is resolved the ducts should be spin cast mortared then spray lined with Duct Armor duct lining material.

Performed video inspection of sewer lateral lines for 6-unit building at Whalom Lane. Identified cracked clay pipe sections with obstructions from root intrusion under front lawn area, approximately 40 linear feet. Provided estimate for excavation and replacement using 6" schedule 40 PVC piping. Includes sidewalk/landscape repair, permit fees. Also quoted for relining cracked sections using epoxy pipe lining method, if acceptable by local jurisdiction. Lead times and terms outlined.
Josh R.
Inserted a 5’ spot repair liner through the existing outside clean out and positioned it over the 4" to 6" cast to clay connection. Inserted a liner through the existing outside clean-out extending upstream approximately 27 feet ending in the previously installed patch at the cast to clay connection. Inserted a liner through the existing outside clean-out extending downstream approximately 22ft ending just prior to the city main sewer.
John R.
During a recent job, I cleaned all areas where stone and backfill were entering the line. To address the issue, I applied RS 100 sealant to the affected areas, effectively preventing further backfill intrusion. This ensures the integrity of the line and prevents future blockages, maintaining proper system functionality.

Completed a CCTV inspection of the sewer line, tracing from an external cleanout back into the house and extending to the city main sewer. This diagnostic approach allows for a precise assessment of the sewer's condition.
