Just wrapped up an above-ground duct inspection for a restaurant in Burbank! Place was having major temperature inconsistencies between dining areas. Used our fiber optic camera system to check all the main trunk lines and branches without having to tear into any walls or ceilings - saved them a ton on potential drywall work! Found some pretty serious issues: three completely disconnected flex ducts in the ceiling plenum, blocked fire dampers that someone had forgotten to open after last inspection, and an access panel that was never sealed properly creating a major air leak. Televised some underground duct work for a customer that was getting a lot of dust/dirt in the house coming up from the duct work. The metal duct work was heavily rusted out, some areas there was no pipe left at all! We were able to clean all the ducts, apply our spin cast mortar to restructure and even create a new pipe where the old pipe was completely rotted away. After creating a new solid pipe to work with we were able to seal the ducts with our duct armor product leaving a clean air flow.
